I want to open bank accounts for my two babies and I live in Canada. What institution would pay the most interest on a savings account?|||With 2 babies, I would choose a bank convenient to me.
Banks at most would pay 1.5% interest with a savings.
That is not worth spending a day calling all banks.
Once the money becomes substantial, then you can look around.
The difference between 1% and 1.7% is not worth the trouble.
Besides, when they get a little older, you will want them to learn how to use the local ATM machine responsibly.
