How can i transfer my xbox account to my new xbox live account?

I had a offline xbox account for a long time.Yesterday i bought a xbox live account.Isn't it possible to keep using my old account and upgrade it to live?

Because right now i have the same gamer-tag but it shows like i didn't play any games yet.Cant i move my achievements, points and saves to my live account?|||You can't move a subscription from one account to another. The same goes for saves and achievements so you'll always have two separate profiles. If you want the offline one with the saves and progress to be an online account, you have to sign into it on your 360 and then sign up for Live.|||It depends, if you bought a LIVE subscription card then you just select "Redeem Code" on your current account (which can be found by pressing the "Xbox" button, going all the way to the menu on the left, and selecting "Redeem Code") If you bought live on your Xbox and created a brand new account then I don't think there's anything to be done. Perhaps if you called Xbox support, they could transfer it but I doubt it.|||well you mean you bought a membership to xbox live but you had been playing offline and now your stuff isnt there?

thats supposed to happen, that way they know you earned it all playing online like for instance call of duty, if you play offline and level up when you connect to live it resets you multiplayer achievements and such.

but if your gamerscore got deleted im not sure unless you made a new gamertag totally but just buying a membership wont do that|||No, you cannot transfer anything from one account to the other. The gamescore/saves/etc stays on one account only. However, you can sign up for Xbox Live using the offline account.|||You cant transfer Achievements and games to a new account. When it comes to XBL accounts everything is concrete to one account.|||sorry, you can't transfer achievements points to an other account, but you can with your saves
